YOUTH ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
introduction
Urbanization coupled with frequent interaction with modern technology have collectively contributed to a low rate of physical activity in children and adolescents. Obesity is also on the rise and occurring in children as young as 3 to 6 years old which could lead to major health risks like diabetes, hypertension, heart diseases and asthma attacks. Psychosocial aspect such as poor self-esteem and depression are also attributed to obesity and inactiveness thus decreasing the quality of life in society.

At Natural Instinct, we believe in the combination of outdoor education and professional fitness programmes for our younger generations, to not only combat sedentary urban lifestyles and childhood obesity but to also give them a strong head start in life and keep them active even as they continue into adulthood.

Parents who want their child(ren) to excel not just academically but also physically. Studies have shown that active children have been associated with higher scores in their exams due to improved behaviour and better focus in the classroom and beyond.
Our age appropriate programmes are specifically designed for children aged 7 years old and above to instil in them a broad array of skills that will improve their development.
